Show Answer
Answer:
Correct Answer: D
Solution:
- Let the sum borrowed at the rate of 12% per annum be Rs. x
$ \therefore $ Sum borrowed at 10% per annum $ =Rs\text{.}\text{(30000}-x) $ Simple interest $ =Rs\text{.}\text{(36480}-30000)=Rs\text{.}6480 $ According to the question, $ \frac{x\times 2\times 12}{100}+\frac{(30000-x)\times 2\times 10}{100}=6480 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ 24x+600000-20x=648000 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ 4x=648000-600000=48000 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=\frac{48000}{4}=12000 $
