  • At X-axis, y-coordinate = 0

$ \therefore $ On putting y = 0 in $ 7x-3y=2, $ we get $ 7x-3\times 0=2 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 7x=2 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=\frac{2}{7} $ Similarly, putting x = 0 in $ 7x-3y=2, $ we get $ y=-\frac{2}{3} $ Hence, x -intercept is $ \frac{2}{7}. $
