Solution:

  • Speed of train relative to man $ =(63-3)km/h $ $ =60km/h=\frac{60\times 5}{18}m/s $ $ =\frac{50}{3}m/s $

$ \therefore $ Time taken to pass the man $ =500\times \frac{3}{50}=30s $
