Solution:

Let the average age of 8 men be $ x $ yr. Then, sum of ages $ =8x $

$ \therefore $ $ \frac{8x+(Ageof2persons)-(30+34)}{8}=x+3 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 8x+ $ (Age of persons) $ -64=8x+24 $

$ \Rightarrow $ Age of 2 persons $ =64+24=88 $ Hence, average age of 2 persons $ =\frac{88}{2}=44yr $
