Solution:

  • First of all we write the fraction of alcohol present in three mixtures. In $ A:\frac{5}{8} $ and in $ B:\frac{5}{9} $ In combination of A and B $ =\frac{7}{2}. $ Now, apply alligation rule, So, the required ratio $ =\frac{1}{36}:\frac{1}{24}=2:3 $
