Solution:

  • Given, speed of train $ =60,km/h=60\times \frac{5}{18}m/s $ $ =\frac{50}{3}m/s $ and time = 30 s Let length of platform = x m $ \because $ Distance = Time $ \times $ Speed

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 200+x=\frac{50}{3}\times 30 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 200+x=500 $

$ \therefore $ $ x=300,m $
