- I. (A + B)’s 1 clay’s work $ =\frac{1}{8} $ III. B’s 1 day’s work $ =\frac{1}{24} $
$ \therefore $ A’s 1 day’s work $ =\frac{1}{8}-\frac{1}{24}=\frac{3-1}{24}=\frac{1}{12} $ Hence, A alone will do the work in 12 days.
