Solution:

Let $ xkm $ be covered in $ yh. $ First speed $ =\frac{x}{y}km/h $ New speed $ =\frac{\frac{x}{2}}{2y}=\frac{x}{4y} $

$ \therefore $ Ratio $ =\frac{x/y}{x/4y}=4:1 $
