Solution:

  • Let the five consecutive even numbers be $ 2x, $ $ 2x+2, $ $ 2x+4, $ $ 2x+6, $ $ 2x+8. $ According to the question, $ 2x+2x+2+2x+4+2x+6+2x+8=230 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 10x+20=230 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 10x=210 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=21 $

$ \therefore $ Required sum $ =50+{{(42)}^{2}}=1814 $
