Show Answer
Answer:
Correct Answer: E
Solution:
- [e] Let the number of males and females in village X be $ 11x $ and $ 7x, $ respectively. Then in village Y, number of males $ =120% $ of $ 11x=\frac{6}{5}\times 11x=\frac{66}{5}x $ Number of females = 88% of $ 7x=\frac{22}{25}\times 7x=\frac{154}{25}x $
$ \therefore $ Required ratio $ =\frac{66}{5}x:\frac{154}{25}x=15:7 $
