Solution:

  • Let the number of rows of trees be x.

$ \therefore $ Number of trees in each row = x According to the question, $ x^{2}-111=10914 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ x^{2}=10914+111 $ $ =11025 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=\sqrt{11025}=105 $
