Solution:

  • [c] Let A’s present age $ =xyr $ and B’s present age $ =yyr $ Given, $ x+y=70 $ …. (i) and $ x=(y+6)+4 $
    $ \Rightarrow $ $ x=y+10 $
    $ \Rightarrow $ $ x-y=10 $ …. (ii) Now, solving Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get $ x=40 $ and $ y=30 $
    $ \therefore $ B’s present age $ =y=30yr $
