Show Answer
Answer:
Correct Answer: A
Solution:
- After giving customer, rest mixture $ =140-20=120,L $ Now, water in 120 L mixture $ =120\times \frac{30}{100}=36,L $ Milk in 120 L mixture $ =120-36=84,L $ Let milkman added milk and water be x L. According to the question, $ \frac{84+x}{36+x}=\frac{2}{1} $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ 84+x=72+2x $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ 2x-x=84-72 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=12 $ Hence, milkman added 12 L milk.
