Solution:

  • Let the number be 3x and 4x, respectively. HCF $ \times $ LCM = First number $ \times $ Second number

$ \therefore $ $ 2028=3x\times 4x $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ x^{2}=\frac{2028}{12}=169 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=\sqrt{169}=13 $

$ \therefore $ Sum of numbers $ =3x+4x=(3\times 13)+(4\times 13)=91 $
