Options:

A) 90

B) 100

C) 135

D) 150

Show Answer

Answer:

Correct Answer: A

Solution:

  • $ \because $ CP of 8 oranges = Rs. 34

$ \therefore $ CP of 1 oranges $ =Rs.\frac{34}{8} $ and SP of 12 oranges = Rs. 57

$ \therefore $ SP of 1 orange $ =Rs.\frac{57}{12} $

$ \Rightarrow $ Gain $ =\frac{57}{12}-\frac{34}{8}=\frac{114-102}{24}=\frac{1}{2} $ Hence, number of oranges $ =\frac{45}{1/2}=90 $
