Solution:

Present age of Radha = x yr According to the question, $ x+3=2,(x-12) $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ x+3=2x-24 $

$ \therefore $ $ x=27 $ Present age of Raj: Present age of Radha

$ \therefore $ Present age of Raj $ =\frac{27}{9}\times 4=12 $ After 5 yr, age of Raj $ =12+5=17,yr $
