Options:

A) 9 days

B) 8 days

C) 4 days

D) 5 days

Show Answer

Answer:

Correct Answer: B

Solution:

  • $ (A+B)’s $ one day work $ =\frac{1}{15} $ $ (B+C)’s $ one day work $ =\frac{1}{10} $ $ (A+C)’s $ one day work $ =\frac{1}{12} $

$ \therefore $ $ 2,(A+B+C)=\frac{1}{15}+\frac{1}{10}+\frac{1}{12} $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 2,(A+B+C)=\frac{4+6+5}{60}=\frac{15}{60} $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 2,(A+B+C)=\frac{1}{4} $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ A+B+C=\frac{1}{8} $

$ \therefore $ A, B and C together will finish the work in 8 days.
