Options:
A) Rs. 600
B) Rs. 660
C) Rs. 760
D) Rs. 330
Show Answer
Answer:
Correct Answer: A
Solution:
- Let SP of the article = Rs. x
CP of the article = Rs. 380
Amount spent on repairing $ =\frac{20\times x}{100}=Rs.\frac{x}{5} $
According to the question,
$ ( 380+\frac{x}{5} )+( 380+\frac{x}{5} )\times \frac{20}{100}=x $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ ( 380+\frac{x}{5} )\times \frac{6}{5}=x $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ \frac{380\times 6}{5}+\frac{6x}{25}=x $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ \frac{380\times 6}{5}=\frac{19x}{25} $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=\frac{380\times 6\times 25}{5\times 19}=Rs.,600 $
