Here, efficiency of a woman, a man and a boy $ =\frac{1}{8}:\frac{1}{6}:\frac{1}{12}=3:4:2 $ Total units of work $ =9\times 6\times 6\times 4=1296 $ Work completed by 12 women, 12 men and 12 boys working 8 h $ =,\frac{1296}{12\times 8\times 3+12\times 8\times 4+12\times 8\times 2} $ $ =,\frac{1296}{96,(3+4+2)}=\frac{1296}{96\times 9}=\frac{12}{8}=1\frac{1}{2}days $
