Solution:

Total requirement of paint = 25 kg Wastage =15% Quantity of paint in each can = 2 kg Now, 15%, gets wasted $ \because $ $ 2-\frac{15}{100}\times 2=2-0.3=1.7,kg $ is used

$ \therefore $ Number of cans $ =\frac{25}{1.7}\approx 14.7\approx 15 $

$ \therefore $ Total price $ =15\times 16=Rs.240 $
