  • Let total number of workers in workshop = x Then, total salary of all workers $ =8000\times x $ According to the question,

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 8000x=7\times 12000+(x-7)\times 6000 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 8000x=84000+6000x-42000 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 8000x-6000x=84000-42000 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 2000x=42000\Rightarrow x=21 $
