Solution:

  • LCM of 4, 5 and 6 = 60 Constant remainder $ =4-2=5-3 $ $ =6-4=2 $

$ \therefore $ Least number $ =60-2=58 $

$ \therefore $ Number which is in the form of $ 60K-2. $ But hit and trail K = 8 gives the required number.

$ \therefore $ $ 60K-2=60\times 8-2 $ $ =480-2=478 $
