  • Trains are running towards each other Length of train $ 1,(l _1)= $ Length of train $ 2(l _2)=220 $ [given] Speed of train 1 $ (S _1) $ = 45 km/h Speed of train 2 $ (S _2) $ = 54 km/h Time taken to cross each other $ =\frac{l _1+l _2}{S _1+S _2} $ $ =\frac{440}{45+54}=\frac{440,m}{99\times \frac{5}{18}} $ $ =\frac{440}{99\times 5}\times 18=16,s $
