Answer:

Correct Answer: A

Solution:

  • Here, 221 is divided among X, Y and Z. Let Z gets Rs. a. Then, Y gets Rs. $ (a+26) $ and X gets Rs. $ (a+78) $ According to the question, $ a+a+26+a+78=221 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 3a+104=221 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 3a=117 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ a=39 $ So, share of Z = Rs. 39 Share of $ Y=Rs.(39+26)=Rs.65 $ Share of $ X=Rs.(39+78)=Rs.117 $

$ \therefore $ Required ratio $ =117:65:39 $ $ =9:5:3 $
