$ Gain $ % $ =\frac{(a+b)z-(ax-by)}{ax+by}\times 100 $ % Here, $ a=2, $ $ b=3, $ $ z=22, $ $ x=14 $ and $ y=? $ $ 10=\frac{(2+3)\times 22-(2\times 14+3\times y)}{2\times 14+3\times y}\times 100% $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 28+3y={110-(28+3y)}\times 10 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 28+3y=820-30y $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ 33y=792 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ y=24perkg $
