Options:
A) 35
B) 57
C) 46
D) 68
Show Answer
Answer:
Correct Answer: A
Solution:
- Let unit’s place digit be x and ten’s place digit be y.
$ \therefore $ Number $ =10y+x $ According to the question, $ x-y=2 $ (i) and $ 4(x+y)=10y+x-3 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ 3x-6y=-3 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ x-2y=-1 $ (ii) On solving Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get x = 5 and y = 3 Hence, number $ =10y+x $ $ =10\times 3+5=35 $
