Let the numbers be x and y.

$ \therefore $ $ \frac{x+y}{x-y}=\frac{5}{1} $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ x+y=5x-5y $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ 6y=4x $

$ \therefore $ $ x:y=3:2 $
