Solution:

  • Let C’s salary be x. B’s salary is 25% of x.

$ \therefore $ $ \frac{25}{100}x=\frac{1}{4}x $ A’s salary is 40% of 25% of $ x=\frac{40}{100}\times \frac{1}{4}x=\frac{1}{10}x $

$ \therefore $ Required percentage $ =\frac{\frac{x}{10}}{x}\times 100=10 $ %
