$ \therefore $ In first vessel, Water $ =\frac{3}{7}L $ and milk $ =\frac{4}{7}L $ In second vessel, Water $ =\frac{5}{8}L $ and milk $ =\frac{3}{8}L $ In 2 L of mixture, Water: Milk $ =\frac{3}{7}+\frac{5}{8}:\frac{4}{7}+\frac{3}{8} $ $ =\frac{24+35}{56}:\frac{32+21}{56} $ $ =59:53 $
