  • [b] Pipe A can filled the tank in 1 min $ =,\frac{1}{20}part $ Pipe B can filled the tank in 1 min $ =\frac{1}{30}part $ If both pipes are open, then Tank can be filled in 1 min $ =\frac{1}{30}+\frac{1}{20}=\frac{20+30}{600}=\frac{50}{600}part $ So, tank can be fully filled in $ =\frac{600}{50}=12\min . $
