Correct Answer: C

Solution:

  • (c) Let speed of walking be x km/h. Total time taken $ =\frac{7.5}{3}+2=4.5h $ Total distance covered $ =7.5+2x $

$ \therefore $ $ \frac{7.5+2x}{4.5}=4 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ 7.5+2x=18 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ 2x=10.5 $

$ \therefore $ Speed of walking $ =5.25km/h $
