$ \therefore $ AB = 2x Now, $ \frac{Area,of,\Delta AOB}{Area,of,\Delta COB}=\frac{AB^{2}}{CD^{2}} $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ \frac{84}{Area,of,\Delta COD}=\frac{4x^{2}}{x^{2}} $
$ \therefore $ Area of $ \Delta COD=\frac{84}{4}=21,cm^{2} $
