  • In the first case $ =\frac{1}{3}:\frac{1}{4}:\frac{1}{5}=20:15:12 $ A gets $ =\frac{20}{47}\times 1692=Rs\text{. 720} $ B gets $ =\frac{15}{47}\times 1692=Rs\text{. 540} $ C gets $ =1692-(720+540)=Rs\text{. 432} $ In the second case, A gets $ =\frac{3}{12}\times 1692=Rs\text{. 432} $ B gets $ =\frac{4}{12}\times 1692=Rs\text{.}564 $ and C gets $ =\frac{5}{12}\times 1692=Rs\text{. 705} $ C gain’s most by $ (705-432)=Rs\text{. 273} $
