$ \Rightarrow $ $ x,(x-11)+8,(x-11)=0 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ (x+8)(x-11)=0 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=-,8,or,11 $ II. $ y^{2}+8y-48=0 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ y^{2}+12y-4y-48=0 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ y,(y+12)-4,(y+12)=0 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ (y-4)(y+12)=0 $
