Solution:

  • Ratio of shares of A, B, C and D $ =(12\times 5):(20\times 6):(15\times 5):(30\times 6) $ $ =60:120:75:180=4:8:5:12 $ Let the total rent for the parking place be Rs. x. As, share $ =\frac{4x}{29} $

$ \therefore $ $ \frac{4x}{29}=2400 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=\frac{2400\times 29}{4}=17400 $
