  • Outer length $ =250+6=256m $ Outer breadth $ =200+6=206m $ Area of trench $ =(256\times 206)-(250\times 200) $ $ =52736-50000=2736m^{2} $ Volume of the trench $ =2736\times 5=13680m^{3} $ Rise in level $ =\frac{13680}{250\times 200}=0.2736m=27.36cm $
