  • Let the cost price of an article be Rs. 100. Then, selling price = Rs. 117 Now, marked price of the article $ =117+\frac{117}{9}=Rs.,130 $ Profit per cent, when the article is sold at marked price $ =\frac{130-100}{100}\times 100=\frac{30}{100}\times 100=30 $ %
