Solution:

  • [a] Let the speed of the truck $ =xkm/h $ Relative speed of the bus $ =(45-x)km/h $

$ \therefore $ $ Time=\frac{Speed}{Distance} $ $ \frac{30}{60\times 60}=\frac{\frac{150}{1000}}{(45-x)} $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ \frac{1}{6}=\frac{3}{45-x} $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ 45-x=18 $

$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=45-18 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ x=27,Km/h $
