Solution:

  • Given, $ AB=16cm $

$ \therefore $ $ AC=BC=8cm $ and $ OO’=12cm $

$ \therefore $ $ OC=CO’=6cm $ In $ \Delta OAC, $ by Pythagoras theorem, $ OA=\sqrt{OC^{2}+CA^{2}}=\sqrt{6^{2}+8^{2}} $ $ =\sqrt{36+64}=\sqrt{100}=10cm $
