Solution:

I lard drives arc fastest among given options. Magnetic tapes are sequential access devices. Hard disks hold more data and are faster than floppy disks, their disks spin faster. Also. They locate data on the disks surface in much less time. Hard disk spin between 3600 rpm and 720 rpm compared to a floppy disk 300 rpm. Compared to hard disk drives, CD-ROM drives are quite slow. In part be-cause the laser reads pits and lands one bit at a time. Also optical disk is split into sector. So rotational speed is slow.
