IIT Kanpur Launches Sathee IBPS Program to Empower Banking Aspirants
The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) has launched “Sathee IBPS,” a specialized program to help candidates prepare for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) exams. Backed by the Ministry of Education, this initiative aims to bridge the educational divide by offering high-quality resources, particularly to students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds and remote areas.
Govind Jaiswal, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Education, emphasized the platform’s role in creating an inclusive educational environment for all aspiring IBPS candidates, regardless of their geographic or economic limitations. IIT Kanpur’s Director, Professor Manindra Agrawal, noted that this initiative reaffirms their commitment to democratizing education, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020.
The program provides comprehensive study materials for the IBPS Clerk exam, with plans to expand to other IBPS exams. Students can access the resources through the dedicated portal ibps.iitk.ac.in or the Sathee app available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
This initiative represents a significant step towards educational equity in India, leveraging technology to empower students nationwide and setting a new standard in exam preparation.
